This 164 room, seven-story hotel is constructed of cast-in-place concrete with a metal stud/plaster façade supported by over 463 concrete piles. This challenging project required multiple teams, and the small lot left little room for parking or storage, so delivery of everything–equipment, materials and manpower–had to be staged at offsite locations.
Unusually wet weather, difficulties with several subcontractors, and electrical limitations which required use of additional generators to power the heavier equipment were some of the challenges our team faced. Nonetheless, the project was completed on time and the owner has been delighted with our timing and workmanship.
